What's in a (domain) name?

If you are starting your own business or just want to update your web presence, you will want to consider purchasing your own domain name and a web hosting service. Even if building a web site is not on your short-term “to-do” list, you will have secured your company name for future building and you will get some valuable perks you can use right away.

Using your email account from your connection provider doesn't look very professional. To some, it may seem like you are too cheap to spend a little for your own company presence on the internet by securing a domain. Or, just as bad, you may be perceived as a little backward and not up on Internet issues. You lose a few points in the image ratings department and that’s not good for your company.
